Professional Experience

Pat Chesser joined Ackerman & Co. in 2003, bringing finance and construction management experience to the Development Group. Pat works primarily on property redevelopment and building acquisitions in the Central Perimeter. Specifically, Pat is overseeing the future development of over 2 million square feet of office, retail, condominium, and hotel combined on several key sites in The Central Perimeter. Pat plays an integral role in creating and maintaining profitable joint venture partnerships for development and acquisitions. During 2005, Pat led acquisition teams that purchased 500,000 square feet of office in the Central Perimeter, and added over 2 million square feet of entitlement through successful rezoning. Pat continues to pursue quality sites, tenants, and commercial development opportunities in Metro Atlanta.

Before Ackerman & Co., Pat worked with Trammell Crow Company as an exclusive Owner’s Representative for EMC Corporation and Cisco Systems managing projects throughout North America. In addition, Pat worked with one of Atlanta’s premier commercial builders, managing and estimating several landmarks projects in and around Sandy Springs and metro Atlanta.
