Professional Experience

Mike Martin joined Ackerman & Co. as a Senior Vice President with the Development Group. He is responsible for identifying, procuring, and developing industrial, retail and mixed-use properties. Mr. Martin’s 18 year career began with Trammell Crow Company where he was responsible for the marketing of an 8 million square foot industrial portfolio. Mr. Martin was then recruited to First Industrial Realty Trust where he was the Regional Development Officer in charge of industrial development throughout the Southeast, excluding Florida. Mr. Martin then formed Diversified Property Group which encompassed retail properties in addition to industrial real estate. Prior to joining Ackerman & Co., Mr. Martin was the Regional Partner with RealtiCorp where his duties included acquisition and development of retail and mixed-use properties across the state of Georgia. His developments have been recognized twice by the American Concrete Institute for building design.

• Greenwood Industrial Park - 3 buildings totaling 1.75 million square feet
• Terminus West Business Park - a 244 acre business park
