Professional Experience

Mr. Evans is a Vice President with Ackerman & Co. responsible for acquisitions and asset management for the company’s principal investment business. In that effort, he has underwritten more than $2 billion of real estate. Recently, he led an acquisition team on a $600 million bid for FDIC owned assets. In his asset management role, he is in charge of determining investment strategy for portfolio assets totaling nearly 2 million square feet. Through his leadership of Ackerman’s Advisory Services Group, he has provided real estate advice to clients on a variety of commercial projects in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, thereby assessing competitive market conditions, performing due diligence for acquisition and disposition of properties, and overseeing the development of strategies for investment management and debt restructuring.

Mr. Evans holds a B.B.A. in Economics from the University of Georgia. He is a Level III CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Candidate.

Representative Clients/Projects

  • Gateway Industrial Park – a 407,000 square foot industrial development, purchased in January 2008
  • Johnson Square – a 121,000 square foot suburban office park, purchased June 2007
  • 9000 Central Park – a 206,000 square foot Class A office building, in the Central Perimeter Submarket
  • Highlands Overlook – a 108,000 square foot flex park, in the Northwest submarket, purchased November 2006
