After completing his MBA at the University of Georgia, Spencer Coan joined Ackerman & Co. as a part of the Investment Sales Advisory Group. Together with Senior Vice President, Andrew Murphy, Mr. Coan works to address client needs, ranging from buyer representation and advisory services to asset disposition. Mr. Coan’s primary responsibilities include the management of the team’s financial and underwriting processes, as well as the team’s due diligence and market research.
Prior to joining Ackerman & Co., Mr. Coan was an acquisitions analyst for Levy Affiliated Holdings in Santa Monica, CA. There he led due diligence on more than $160 million of potential acquisitions, of which more than $20 million were transacted. In addition to his primary role, Spencer managed all aspects of a $6.6 million shopping center in Pomona, CA and led a thorough lease review for the company’s held properties. Mr. Coan has extensive experience with respect to underwriting, financial modeling, and macroeconomic analysis.
