For nearly a decade, Joshua Gregory has provided real estate counsel to hundreds of businesses in myriad industries. Since joining Ackerman & Co. in February 2004, he has provided commercial real estate services to top Atlanta companies, including AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc., Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, LG Electronics and SunTrust Bank to name a few.
Mr. Gregory specializes in real estate services for education facilities. He has an in-depth knowledge of the charter school industry, and comprehensive information about the market for buildings and land suitable for schools throughout Georgia. He has helped more than one dozen charter schools with their facilities requirements.
Mr. Gregory serves clients in land and building sales as well as tenant representation in leasing, acquiring, and disposing of educational, office, medical office, and industrial space. In addition to brokerage services, Mr. Gregory also provides marketing solutions and real estate advisory services. He also offers landlord representation for office, medical, education and industrial space for lease or sale in metro Atlanta.
He became a LEED Accredited Professional in February 2009 and was among the first commercial real estate brokers to earn the certification. Mr. Gregory started a networking group of professionals focused on the sustainability industry in order to put in place a team of vendors to help clients with their sustainability requirements.
Previously, Mr. Gregory worked for Atlanta-based development group, Miller Gallman Developers, LLC where he assisted Miller Gallman in the sales of a 150-unit loft project, Glen Iris Lofts, in Midtown. He also oversaw the conversion and sale of Whitehall Mill Lofts from an apartment complex to condominiums. During his tenure at Miller Gallman, Mr. Gregory was also responsible for creating and implementing marketing campaigns, negotiating construction contracts and bidding, as well as property management.
Mr. Gregory resides in the Virginia Highland neighborhood with his wife and daughter.
