Professional Experience

Jonathan Allen joined Ackerman & Co. in 2008, and focuses on investment sales of shopping centers, strip centers and other retail properties. Mr. Allen works to connect both regional and national investors with property owners, evaluating a number of criteria, including investment goals, property types, projected income streams, and client-specific market data.  Mr. Allen works with the client throughout the transaction process, and has established and maintains excellent relationships of clients throughout the nation.

Throughout his career, Mr. Allen has listed more than $200 million in retail properties throughout metropolitan Atlanta, and has assisted in selling some $70 million in properties.  Prior to joining Ackerman & Co., Mr. Allen worked with Southpointe Partners Ltd., which merged with Ackerman & Co.  He also was a Investment Sales Broker with JV Holdings, with sales of multifamily and foreclosed residential properties in excess of $25 million.
