Chitra Subbarayan draws on her economic development experience to bring value to her work in real estate brokerage. In addition to providing brokerage services to corporate clients and investors, she is also involved in developing sustainable mixed- use projects. The projects include significant office, and industrial developments that create value for communities in the metro Atlanta area. Prior to joining the commercial brokerage retail industry, Ms. Subbarayan was President of Infoservices International, an Atlanta-based marketing and economic development consulting. In this capacity, she provided consulting services to local municipalities in the metro Atlanta area. These services included: 1) developing proposals for business retention and corporate relocation; 2) working with community development departments to increase their participation in organizations, such as ICSC and CORENET, to attract corporate and retail prospects and increase community investment; and 3) supporting the organization of citizen economic development councils to increase awareness of opportunities for business and citizen participation in the development of strategic plans for the community.
