Andrew Murphy Professional Experience Andrew Murphy joined Ackerman & Co. in 2010 as a Senior Vice President with a distinct focus in investment sales throughout the southeast. Murphy’s day-to-day focus is addressing the financial needs of his clients and creating solutions for them. Within his team’s platform, this often times results in a sale of a property, a recapitalization on a particular asset, advising a client to refinance or simply retain ownership of their property. In recent years, Murphy has been involved in real estate asset sales for institutional and entrepreneurial owners totaling over $500 million and has completed in excess of 3 million square feet of office, medical office, retail, and industrial property sales throughout the southeast. As such, Andrew has built one of the premier investment sales platforms in the southeast with a primary focus on middle market assets. Prior to joining Ackerman & Co., Mr. Murphy was a Vice President at Carter & Associates in Atlanta. Beyond that, Andrew spent five years with CB Richard Ellis’s Atlanta Private Client Group and their Financial Consulting Group, where he underwrote close to $6 billion of real estate assets on the eastern seaboard.
